My hair dye disaster....?

So I died my hair black a couple months back, but I wanted to go back to natural color which, from a box, is a light ash blonde. So, I bought a box of hair dye, ultra light ash blonde, and used it last night. OMG....when I washed it out and dried my hair, only my roots were ultra light ash blonde!! The rest of my hair was still black!! I don't want to have black hair anymore, but I don't want to go to a salon and have it bleached. Anyone know what else I can do?

My hair dye disaster....?

you have to use bleach babe

i know it sucks and it will take a long time,

your hair will probably be orange for a long long time :(

it happened to me. but if you take good care of your hair and wait at least a month between bleaches, your hair wont look like a total birds nest.

i reccomend the number 40 peroxide and blue powder bleach, you can get these from priceline and in total it will cost about $10 for both.

that will bleach your whole head once.

try and avoid your roots because they are already lightened.

get someone you trust to do it, if you dont want to go to a salon.

My hair dye disaster....?

You HAVE to get it bleached. There is no other way besides grow it out.

My hair dye disaster....?

you shouldve gone to a salon...dying black hair to blonde is hair...you could get your stripped of the color, but you'd have to go to a salon for that.

My hair dye disaster....?

U really need to go to a salon because u have already messed up by doing your hair yourself SORRY but i really don'y understand why people think that u can put another color on top of black hair because all it will do is make it darker so please let a proffesional do it You will thank me or whoever that gives u the same advice Good Luck God Bless You!

My hair dye disaster....?

yes....u will have to get a professional with a lot of experience in corrective color work to BLEACH YOUR HAIR!

a haircolor can not make another haircolor get lighter. this is why only the natural color (roots) took the light ash blonde color.

i would highly reccommend that you have a hairdresser help with this situation............this is what we went to school for!

best of luck
