Non-harmful Hair Dye?

I want to dye my hair. It's a really dark brown. Is there a way to dye it without harmful chemicals that ACTUALLY works?? also, how bad is real dye for your hair? and what colour should I dye it?? (i hav white skin and brown eyes)

try lemon juice.

put it on damp hair. the lighter you want to go, the longer you leave it on.

if possible go out and spend time in the sun while its on.

wash off after 30 mins.

it worked for and i had dark blonde/brown hair which turned really whitey blonde!!!
