Hair dye q... need answered asap?

so i bought this dye from the store. but when i got home and read the instructions i found out that there was a cream i was supposed to buy separately and i have to mix the two. well what would happen if i just used the dye but not the cream? (im dying my hair extentions... not my hair. so im not worried about damage) would i still get the same color?

I think the cream that you needed is the activator for the color base. If it is, then the color won't develope without it.

I'm guessing that the cream you are talking about is peroxide or a booster. Peroxide helps to "lift" the darker color to a lighter tone. So if your extentions are light and the color you're going for is darker, then you won't need the booster. But, if your extentions are dark and you're trying to get a lighter color you will need it in order to get the right color.
