it still washes out afetr 2-3 shamopoos. I have even resorted to leaving the dye on for two hours, but it still doesn't cover my few grey hair very well, and as I say, after a few washes the whole colour is gone again.
I have tried to dye my hair in similar tones to my own mousey mane and I have tried going slightely darker. I really just don't want to be grey yet, what can I do?
Oh and yes, it is hair dye products I have used, not wash in and out colours..........

you have poor porosity hair....hair has a compact, unlifted cuticle which is resistant to absorption...grey hair requires presoftening or prepigmentation...your hair should be allowed max timing ...you will be needing a higher volume when using color....more than 20V....you may need 30V or 40V.....find a senior stylist or one that is a color tech.....you may have better results....good luck

It sounds like your hair doesn't hold color very well. Your best bet would be to go to a salon and have it professionally done. More expensive, but they will make it last longer.

make sure you stylist is using a double pigmented color for grey color,
Schwarzkopf is the best, tell your stylist to use the -00 series.
