i have brown hair and i used to have blonde highlights well three thick ones and now i dyed my hair brown again and the highlights fell off how can i get the blonde to stick on properly cuz i used volume 20 and bought a dye color that was blonde and it didnt work properly

I don't have a clue what you're talking about? Do you mean that you dyed your hair brown and covered your highlights, and tried to use blonde color over the brown?

You can't lift color with color.

The blonde haircolor you bought will not make the brown color you put on earlier lighten. You can only deposit over color unless you use bleach.

If you dye brown over the blond of course you will lose the lighter highlights since it is darker. Adding blond may make your hair all over a slightly lighter shade or red or green. Please go to a reputable salon to have the highlights added before you ruin your hair.

you will have to bleach it, or strip the brown where you want the highlights then use the blonde or go to your hair dresser, it shouldn't cost that much....Good luck!
