White hair dye??

My friend wants her hair dyed like storm in X-men....is there white hair dye?...or do will strip your hair at the salon...any hairdressers out there??

White hair dye??

I did my own hair by using the White Out bleach kit sold at Hot Topic, to keep her hair white (and not yellow) I would suggest using Clairol's Shimmer Lights Original Conditioning Shampoo sold at Sally's beauty supply. Also if she is low on cash the generic version of that shampoo works just as well. Good luck!

White hair dye??

Well, first off. Why? I'm not sure that there is white hair dye..but I'm almost positive there is silver. Or "gray"!

White hair dye??

I think you just have to bleach out all color with peroxide.

White hair dye??

You have to bleach it.

It will be TERRIBLE for her hair--it will fry all the life out. It can cause it to never grow again!

Please try to talk her OUT of it!

It would look stupid, anyway.

White hair dye??

Manic Panic carries a dye called Virgin Snow. You have to bleach your hair almost white and then the virgin snow is supposed to take out the yellow shades leaving it white. I haven't ever seen it done, so I don't know how well it works, but there you go.

White hair dye??

You can't dye "white" you have to bleach. To get it that light, you should have it done professionally, even then it may damage your hair. My friend was having her bleached at a salon and her hair literally melted from the chemicals (granted, she was a habitual hair dyer).

White hair dye??

um gray hair....i hope she isnt white

There's no such thing as dying your hair white. You must first bleach to remove the color. Then you can dye platinum.

To lighten hair to white, it will take bleach; no other chemical or product lightens hair. Bleach is safe to use, when used correctly. Again, bleach can be harmful ONLY when used incorrectly. Some bleach allows for scalp application, some allows for heat, some allows for several applications at one time, %26amp; some even works without peroxide. The best advice is to see a professional. You have to also remember that your natural pigment will determine if your hair will even lighten to the color white. For instance, my hair pigment is so naturally dark that I can bleach it all day %26amp; the lightest color it will reach is yellow (without falling off, of course). Some people, like blondes, can reach the color white with one simple application of bleach. Again, consult a professional in person.
