i dyed my hair a few time and now its starting to fade,i wanna go back to my old hair colour.is there any way i could remove all the dye from my hair without waiting for it to fade or re dyeing it.i live in the uk.

no. once you dye your hair, the only way for your natural color to come back is to let it grow out. stripping and bleaching will not get your color back to normal. it will lighten it enough so you could redye it a better color, but nothing is going to solve your problem.

no, i don't believe there is. You either have to wait for it to grow back out or redye it close to what your hair color was. There is no way to get your original hair color - with no dye - back that i know of.

you can lightly remove hair dye, but it is very bad for your hair and it doesnt go fully back to your natural colour ( i have had it done to get from black back to my natural blonde). Its stripping your hair, and its a chemical that removies most of your dyed hair colour. However it will dry out your hair and leave it in bad condition, and you will have to have some dye on top to get it back to your colour again.

As an alternative you could grow out the dye or dye your hair to match your routes but then use a leave in conditioner once a week to get it in a good condition again and regular trim every 6 weeks :)

It'll take a while but if you pick a colour close to the colour of your roots and pick a dye that lasts for 24 (or so) washes, you won't need to keep dying it as often.
