Hair dye problem.?

Okay, so about a month ago, my mom bleached my hair because i wanted it blonde. after that, about two days after, we dyed it. everything was going great. i added in one red streak, and everything was cool. two weeks after, i kind of, went crazy with this red dye. on my hair i used loreal for the blonde, and this semi permanent red dye for the red. i pretty much ruined my hair. its coming out now, but i was wondering if i could just dye it over with black so that i could get rid of my crappy dye job?

Hair dye problem.?

never go black unless you are committed to being black for ever. It is impossible to dye over and hard to strip out. It's also a high maintenance color, no kidding, it needs more attention than people think.

Your best bet is to go to a professional to take care of the red or wait it out. Red is a funny color too, it fades too fast but never really goes away.

If I'd seen this question two years ago, I would have been sure you were my daughter!

That's part of my experience,

Hair dye problem.?

i would suggest going to the salon and getting it done professionally.

I think you better get a hat and leave your hair alone!!!

Hair dye problem.?

i would just let it rinse out. When you shampoo, lather up really really really well and repeat. It will wash out faster. Use hot water too, it will rinse better. Dont dye your hair black, it will just look weird with the red underneathe. Be careful next time.

Go to the salon and have someone "save" your hair! It will cost more than doing it at home, but the results will be worth it. I wouldn't dye it black either...instead a dark brown or auburn. Black is so harsh and looks good on very few people (but for those who can pull it off, they look great).

Good luck.

Hair dye problem.?

WOW, your hair has taken so much toll. You should definately NOT dye your hair for a least 5 months, and not do anything to it.

GOOD LUCK

Hair dye problem.?

o well I would definatley go with a perfessional first because since you have already ruined your hair I think you need to go get it out (they know how to do that) and they can dye it for you and make it look really healthy!
