Hair Dye Colours....HELP!!?

ok well my hair is a natural black color, and my skin is like a medium dark sorta color. my hair is naturally wavy/kinda curly.. but i do straighten it sometimes, or leave it natural, oh and i have side bangs.

well anyways im going to get a haircut soon for back2school and i wanted to dye it also. im dyed my hair before many many times, but this time i wanted to try something new and just dye the UNDERNEATH of my hair..but i have no idea on what would look good on me! please help me decide on colors...

and NO thanks, im not gonna dye my whole head brown, or anything...

ive had streaks before, but this was just an idea of mine...so dont say anything like: oh its outta style now, and it will look ugly. all i was is OPINIONS please.

I think you should go with a lite brown color.

Light golden brown it should give it some light underneath and some shimmer when the light hits it.

with you skin color, i think you should dye the underneath of your hair a lite brown, semi reddish color, i think it would highlight your skin tone subtley... try a dye from l'oreal they have nice colors that look really good... good luck!

hey girly!

i think you should go with the emo styled hair color, ya know, black with blonde underneath or you could get red highlights. my friend has black hiar and tan skin, and has redish highlights. or you could get pink hightlights! so cute!

since you have dark skin, deffinetly no blonde, it'll look so obvious.. try like brunette.. like a dark chocolate color.

buttt if you have black hair and wanna dye just the uderneath, red would be soo hawwtt.... =]

Choose one of your favorite colors OR choose a color associated with the season...

with your skin tone try colour that would bring out a spark like a crimson red, copper sunset or plum. i have black hair and brown skin, with a yellowish undertone and these colours work 4 me.

if you want to stand out try dying just the crown area or about 4 inches to the nape.

Why not try a deep red underneath. A friend of mine has beautiful red hair. She dyes hers black underneath and it looks way hot. I think that reverse would look hot as well
