Purple Hair Dye!!!!!!!!?

Hello, :-D

I have an obsession with the color purple, and especially purple hair. I'm looking for a PERMANENT purple hair dye. The only place i could find Artificial color dyes was at Hot Topic, but all of the dyes there are semi-permanent. I dont want it to fade fast. I did find a burgundy color dye that was permanent and thats the color my hair is now but it looks too natural :D Please help me find some good permanent purple hair dyes

thanks a bunch :-*

Purple Hair Dye!!!!!!!!?

Just go to a salon or hairdressers, they can colour your hair any colour you want, most are quite affordable. The amount of time it lasts and speed of fading depends on how often you wash your hair. Most though will last between 4 and 8 weeks.

Purple Hair Dye!!!!!!!!?

go to a salon.. they have stuff available.. have fun!!

Purple Hair Dye!!!!!!!!?

If there is a Sally's anywhere close, they should have it. You will probably have to bleach the hair out some for the color to hold over your previous color. Not a lot, maybe up to an light orange.

Purple Hair Dye!!!!!!!!?

well try going to a place like superdrug and my brother found one for me that was permanent and i had it good luck l'oreal is the best i have too say lol xx good luck again lol xx

Purple Hair Dye!!!!!!!!?

i was looking for a bright not mormal hair dye also, i couldnt find it anywhere.

the best places to find semi permanent is sallys way cheaper than hot topic, when i did mine [green then red] they stayed for a while then you just have to re dye them for a half hour every once in a while.

Purple Hair Dye!!!!!!!!?

this might sound freking weird...but my friend has a blue mohawk, and i wanted to know what he did to it, and he bleached it, and poured really hot blue koolaid over it. it stayed for a little while, but it faded.

but im pretty sure not a lot of people sell permanent artificial color. some dyes they have are manic panic, but that fades to a disgusting color, and ive never tried this, but theres splat.

hope that helps.

Purple Hair Dye!!!!!!!!?

schwartzkopf xxl hair dyes are amazing for crazy colours. i used the purple one over the summer and went on holiday to the med and it lasted pretty well. i have very dark hair, and it definatly worked on me!

Why does hair dye change the texture of your hair?

I have thick african american hair. I am getting gray and I dye every 4- 6 months (when it starts to look awful/washed out). Prior to dyeing (1 month or so because I forget that I should dye it again), my ends are frizzy and my hair is dry, dry, dry.

I then relax my hair with Optimum and dye it with soft %26amp; beautiful semi perm jet black dye (formulated to use after relaxing, but I wait one week). My hair texture turns smooth and more manageable. It is almost miraculous. I am a do it your selfer - I don't usually go to hairdresser unless special occassion.

I do not change my routine of blow dry and flat iron with ion spray heat protector (my hair is extremely thick) and then grease, pink oil, and oil sheen and then I wrap it with a silk cloth.

Why does hair dye change the texture of your hair?

I chemically relax my hair too. I have rough thick hair that is curly and impossible to manage. I can't comb my hair unless I put products in it.

When you relax your hair, the chemicals THIN out the hair strand. That is why it feels smoother.

Same for me, my hair feels more healthy when relaxed when in actuality, it is technically more damaged. hahaha.

Why does hair dye change the texture of your hair?

Well I am a beautician and this is what I think, First of all relaxing and dying your hair (especially) african american hair, drains the nutrients that the hair needs. You should almost never dye your hair and then put a relaxer in it. What you should start doing is going to a professional hairdresser.....Thats if you want. But if you cant afford it or just dont like going and sitting and waiting then do one at a time. Like do one two months apart. That should help solve your problem......good luck sweetie.......

Why does hair dye change the texture of your hair?

because of the chemicals

Why does hair dye change the texture of your hair?

the hair dye changes the texture of your hair because of all the chemicals your putting in to it.

Why does hair dye change the texture of your hair?

well i dye my hair black but my only problem is trying to make sure if have enough moisture in my hair. well is sounds like your doing way to much to ur hair first you have a relaxer that's 1 chemical damage already 2, Ur putting heat on it , and 3 ur dying so that's why ur hair is so dry ur taking all the moisture out and the products ur using is not going to work. first u need to deep condition it will help trust me.try garine futurist moisture works and then their deep conditioner sleek and shine. for lotion i highly recommend olive oil lotion. if u did this u will be thanking me later!

Black hair dye.?

I dyed my hair black 2 weeks ago with Feria 'starry night' permanent hair dye. I don't like it (like most people who make the mistake of dying it black). Originally I have dark brown/black hair. I don't like the harsh black in it now, but I am NOT going to bleach it out. I have been washing it every 2 - 3 day with dandruff shampoo and herbal essences. Every time I wash it the water and soap suds are a blue/black colour. I know it is washing out ... but I can't see a difference in my hair colour. I have only ever dies my hair twice, and the hair dye never washed out like this.

Is the black hair colour actually coming out? Or is it just wishful thinking?

Black hair dye.?

Go to your local salon or look around for tea tree shampoo i promise you it will fade your color quickly!!

Black hair dye.?

It might be coming out. If you really want to strip it, use dishwashing liquid, (not a whole lot and only once or twice) it's harsh and it will dry your hair out some but it will take alot of the dye out quickly. Just use a good conditioner or leave on pack afterwards. Lesson most of us have learned, hardly anyone looks good with dyed black hair, it's too flat. Good luck!

Black hair dye.?

permanment hair dye is only suppose to last 28 days.. so its possible that its washing out.. but unlike other colors black is the one that will stay in ur hair a lot longer then others.. my advice is if you really dont like it go to a professional and get a strip done on it... it takes away any color that u put in it and should take u right back to ur natural color!

Black hair dye.?

yes, it will be washing out but only the pigments that didn't "develop" into your hair properly, it won't really lighten either as permanent is pretty much permanent until it either grows out or you use something like colourfix colour remover which will remove all artificial pigment out of hair that was put in by a haircolour.

Black hair dye.?

Know what you mean, been there and done that, try washing up liquid as a previous answer said, it's not that fierce but be careful you don't get it in your eyes. Any really intense colour can take a while to wash out, be careful next time.

Black hair dye.?

The residue will wash out over time but the depth will remain,go to a salon for a consultation,it may work out cheaper and less damaging to your hair than doing it yourself.

Black hair dye.?

Hi Tiny.

I hope it isn't wishful thinking. I too have dyed my hair black (from natural dark brown). A mistake, I think (although bearable).

I've been washing my hair with Head and Shoulders (apparently that helps fade it) but I can't see any difference.

Most people say "go to the hairdressers" but I can't really afford it. I think I'll see if it fades in the sun! (Or washes out in the torrential rain!) Good luck X

Temporary black hair dye on blonde hair?

My hair naturally grows in two completely different colors-- almost platinum blonde and black. I have a weird black spot of hair on the back of my head (I've been to specialists who have classified it as a birthmark caused by laying on the same spot in my mothers womb during development. Apparently this caused a difference pigment in the hair there.) and then the rest of my hair is black.

Now my mom refuses to let me dye my hair black or bleach it to make it completely blonde. I really hate it by the way; I get all sorts of rude comments from strangers.

Anyway, crazy hair day is coming up at my school and she said I can dye my hair as long as it is completely temporary. So, will temporary (something that washes out from one or two shampoo rinses) black hair dye, despite being "temporary" stain my naturally blonde hair? Granted, I wouldn't really mind, especially since I currently have short hair and it grows really fast. I just don't want my mom to be angry :s

Thanks!

Temporary black hair dye on blonde hair?

I'd say so, but I don't know why you hate something so unique about yourself (and if it's going to be crazy hair day... don't you already have that?).

I hope you learn how to accept it in time because it really does sound awesome.

Cheers.

Temporary black hair dye on blonde hair?

I'd just dye it black and tell her I didn't know it was permenant.

Temporary black hair dye on blonde hair?

Any time someone gives you a rude comment like that just tell them to **** off. I think your hair would be cool but still I hate when parents are stupid.

Temporary black hair dye on blonde hair?

just die it and lie lol

Temporary black hair dye on blonde hair?

DON'T DO IT, YOU WILL RUIN YOUR HAIR

Hair dye questions?

Im getting my hair dyed at a salon tomorrow and it will be my first time, although I have had it bleached before.

Here are the things I want to ask about

1. I've dyed my hair black myself before ('permanent') and it fades back to my usual mid-brown colour within 6 weeks. Do hairdressers use better dye that lasts longer?

2. Ive seen permanent red dye go ginger after a few weeks, does this always happen?

3. How much more damaging is salon dye compared to retail dye?

Thanks

Hair dye questions?

The salon has great products if you go to a high-end trendy salon.

That being said, I have dyed my hair at home a number of times and had great luck with demi-permanent Color Charm (Sallys Beauty), or with Ion Color Brilliance - permanent color... (Sally's Beauty).

I wash daily and either of those products lasts %26amp; lasts. I even cover the grays with it! It's very good for the hair and leaves it shiny. They also have a color protect product, too - so when you go to Sally's ask about it.

If you are going ginger, maybe it's your underlying pigment in your hair (common). Then get a neutral protein filler and then color with permanent color.

fyi: always do a patch test and a strand test to make sure it's the right shade and that you won't have an allergy to a product. Use disposable gloves, the plastic bowl and the plastic brush for application. Protect your eyes, you don't want any hair dye in them. Condition well afterwards.

Hair dye questions?

I think salon dye lasts longer- trust me, i've dyed mine black myself plenty times, but it always fades unless I go to a salon. I would say if permanent red dye would stay brighter longer if they use a salon formula. I don't think that dye from a salon is much more damaging- just better ingredients.

Hair dye questions?

1. By Having Hairdressers Die Your Hair Doesnt Mean It Will Last Its How Long It Takes Your Hair To Grow

2. No It Shouldnt Do It Depends What Your Natural Colour Is!

3. Probably The Same

Hair dye questions?

Okay so, as a stylist I can answer all of your questions correctly =]] The dye we use in salons does last longer and is better (professional quality) The fading of red depends on how often you wash your hair. A tip to make color last longer is to wash your hair in cool water, not cold but not hot. Salon dye is less damaging. And if you are concerned about damage, as your stylist to use a high-lift tint as apposed to a bleach. A high-lift tint will do virtually no damage. hope I helped =]]

Hair dye questions?

i would reccomend that u use garnier hair color.. works great, looks good, and lasts long... but keep in mind, every time u wash your hair, you wash out color.

Hair dye problem!!?

Well, I dyed my hair really dark brown way back in december or january, and I tried dying it back to light brown but the bottom half of my hair wouldnt dye so then just today I tried to dye it blonde and the top half of it dyed but the bottom half is still the really dark color. And I dont have that long of hair, so I cant just cut off the part that wont dye, but I was thiking about trying to use sun-in stuff on the bottom part to see if that helps it but I dont know. Does any one know anything I could do to try and lighten it without having to strip my hair?

Hair dye problem!!?

you can't use sun in on dyed hair and you can't dye dark hair with out lightening it first. bleach it.

Hair dye problem!!?

whoa u need to go to a pro, but my hairstylist say that when u get relaxers or perms it strips the color out of ur hair so maybe u could do that, but I would highly recommend that u go to a hair pro before ur hair falls out just to get it back to normal

Hair dye problem!!?

what u can do is you can dye the bottom half that wont dye or just dye it again it happend to me and i dyed it againand it worked

Hair dye problem!!?

go to a beautician before you fry your hair or make it fall out!

they have stuff thatll be gentle on your hair.

Hair dye problem!!?

Maybe you could buy the light brown hair-dye and apply it to your half that is darkest, leave it on for about 10 minutes. then apply to the rest of your hair and wait 10-20 minutes (depends on what hairdye you buy). Otherwise if you have a college of hair design where you stay, they usually can fix the problem for very little money (under 20 dollars). Good luck!

I think you should go with a lite brown color.

Hair Dye Colours....HELP!!?

Dark blonde, or a dark red.

Hair Dye Colours....HELP!!?

Light golden brown it should give it some light underneath and some shimmer when the light hits it.

Hair Dye Colours....HELP!!?

with you skin color, i think you should dye the underneath of your hair a lite brown, semi reddish color, i think it would highlight your skin tone subtley... try a dye from l'oreal they have nice colors that look really good... good luck!

Hair Dye Colours....HELP!!?

well i think you should have a color underneath that is a little brighter than dirty blonde.

Hair Dye Colours....HELP!!?

dirty blonde

Hair Dye Colours....HELP!!?

hey girly!

i think you should go with the emo styled hair color, ya know, black with blonde underneath or you could get red highlights. my friend has black hiar and tan skin, and has redish highlights. or you could get pink hightlights! so cute!

hope this helps!

Hair Dye Colours....HELP!!?

since you have dark skin, deffinetly no blonde, it'll look so obvious.. try like brunette.. like a dark chocolate color.

buttt if you have black hair and wanna dye just the uderneath, red would be soo hawwtt.... =]

Hair Dye Colours....HELP!!?

The cool thing about black hair is that ANY COLOR goes with it...so many options......here's what has helped me decide on a color in the past....

Choose one of your favorite colors OR choose a color associated with the season...

Hair Dye Colours....HELP!!?

with your skin tone try colour that would bring out a spark like a crimson red, copper sunset or plum. i have black hair and brown skin, with a yellowish undertone and these colours work 4 me.

if you want to stand out try dying just the crown area or about 4 inches to the nape.

Hair Dye Colours....HELP!!?

Why not try a deep red underneath. A friend of mine has beautiful red hair. She dyes hers black underneath and it looks way hot. I think that reverse would look hot as well
